Alexa is a first-year doctoral student in the Environmental Health department at BUSPH. Her research interests include science communication, environmental toxicology, and community-based participatory research. Alexa’s role in the Community Noise Lab will be conducting research in the towns of Boston to determine not only noise levels but how noise is perceived. Alexa earned her B.S from the University of Connecticut in a self-designed major Human Health Sciences where she developed a passion for public health, human rights, and environmental science.
